<p></span><span>The Friendship House American Indian Market &amp; Powwow is a San Francisco festival featuring American Indian arts and crafts booths, powwow dancers, three drum groups, and informational booths about American Indian organizations. Delicious Indian tacos and refreshments will be on sale.&nbsp; A Youth Educational Pavilion will include talks about the diversity of American Indian culture, a teepee to house storytelling sessions, and carnival games for children&rsquo;s entertainment. Dance groups representing various tribes will share their styles of dancing with exhibition dances. In addition to exhibition dancing, there will also be contest dancing.

<p></span><span><a title="blocked::http://www.friendshiphousesf.org/" href="http://www.friendshiphousesf.org/"><span /><span style='color: maroon' />Friendship House Association of American Indians, Inc.</a></span> was formed in 1963 and is a nonprofit community-based organization.&nbsp; Friendship House provides residential substance abuse treatment services at its 80-bed facility in San Francisco and its 11-bed Lodge program in Oakland for women and their children.&nbsp; Friendship House also provides a large array of youth prevention services and hosts several annual community events.
